The 7 rules of Peak Performance

Success is predictable. Success is a Science.

Decide success for you! What would your life look like if you made it to a masterpiece? Author and speaker Brian Tracy has a formula for achieving peak performance. But first, you have to decide what success means to you: what does your ideal life look like?

7 ingredients of success

1 – Peace of mind

This is your natural mental state, and one way to achieve it is to make a list of everything you have to do the next day before you go to bed.

2 – Good health and high levels of energy

Enjoying good health is your natural physical state. How can you improve your diet and exercise routine to be healthier? What about your sleeping habits?

3 – Happy relationships

Having strong relationships with people you love and who love and care about you is incredibly important to our mental well-being.

4 – Financial freedom

If you make enough money so you don’t have to think about it continually – or at all – how wonderful would that be? Define your financial goals and make plans to achieve them.

5 – Worthy goals and ideals

You need to feel like you’re making a valuable contribution to the world. What are your goals? How are you working to achieve them?

6 – Self-awareness

It is incredibly important to understand yourself; specifically, why you react and respond the way you do to situations and people. It will make your life much easier.

7 – Personal fulfillment

In Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, this is self-actualization, or the feeling that you’re becoming everything you’re capable of becoming.

The 7 rules for Peak Performance

  1. Life get better when you get better
  2. It doesn’t matter where you came from, it matters where you are going
  3. Anything is worth doing poorly at first
  4. You can Learn anything – any goal can set
  5. You are only as free as your options
  6. Every difficulty faced is the seed of an equal or greater opportunity or benefit
  7. Only Limits are self imposed
